Coleen's Bio.
For more than 25 years, Coleen Trimble has worked in the financial services industry.
She is currently a senior consultant for an institutional investment consulting firm. In her current role as consultant, Coleen is responsible for assisting corporate defined benefit, defined contribution plans and foundation/endowment clients with investment strategy and policy issues.
Coleen also leads the firm’s research on issues related to behavioral finance.
For many years, Coleen has researched and written about behavioral finance and spoken at industry conferences. She has also authored papers on behavioral finance, including decision making for investment committees and the ramifications of investor decisions upon the current market cycle. Prior to her current role, Coleen was an investment broker with Smith Barney Harris Upham, Inc. where she managed client portfolios. Coleen has more than 25 years experience in the areas of finance, investment management, and consulting.
As creator and presenter of "Heart of Money," she shares her passionate interest in how cultural beliefs underlie our decisions, thoughts and feelings about money and reflect our relationship with self. Coleen holds a bachelor’s and a Master of Business Administration degrees. She is also a certified trainer through the Empowerment Institute in New York.
